Acer platanoides; Norway Maple

This Norway Maple is one I came across on the Buda hills, Budapest, early November.
The tree is amongst many species within a dense woodland, intruded by a long-stretched, meandering pedestrian walk-way. The bold characteristics sit well in its context, leading up to a tourist site of vast Hungarian historical monuments - the majestic nature of the Maple mimic the characteristics of the nearby castle.

Within its location, the Maple receives minimal competition and maximum sunlight. If spotted in the Spring, the Maple can be found to have red/orange flowers, while in the Autumn it can be found to have fruits.
